Emily Cassell, Marketing Director, Arlington Convention and Visitors Service

Ms. Cassell has over 19 years of experience leading integrated marketing communications in the fields of travel, technology, and economic development. In her current role as marketing director for the Arlington Convention and Visitors Service (a division of Arlington Economic Development), Ms. Cassell is responsible for positioning and promoting Arlington County as a premier destination for leisure travel, conventions and government meetings.

Ms. Cassell has held senior marketing and communications positions at several Washington-area organizations, including Advanced Performance Consulting Group, Inc. (APCG); Bantu, Inc.; CTIA-The Wireless Association®; and SatoTravel, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and an International MBA from the University of South Carolina and the Wirtschaftsuniversitat Wien in Vienna, Austria.
