Lisette Barry - Director of Sales

Lisette Barry has served as Director of Sales (and all around program assistant) of the Embassy Series for the last ten years. Prior to that she was an active member of the Washington Music Ensemble for 14 years.

Mrs. Barry has a BA from the University of Washington and has undertaken advanced studies in business and social work. She attended the Universidád Centrál in Quito, Ecuador and participated in the UNESCO program in Quito. (Ciclo Internacionál). She is fluent in four languages and has traveled extensively throughout the world, living in Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Italy, Germany and Israel for extended periods and has attended concerts all her life. She also has studied piano and violin and is an avid aficionado of music.

Mrs. Barry served as a board member of the Monday Nite Musicales for 22 years and has been on the Board of Directors of The Embassy Series for the past 10 years. Mrs. Barry has her real estate license and has also worked as a counselor for youth and in the credit department of Neiman-Marcus. She is the mother of two daughters and has one grandchild.
